This deliverable describes the outcome of the analyses performed on a number of National statistic
databases on motorcycle accidents integrated with the analyses performed on three in-depth motorcycle
accident databases available to the consortium: DEKRA, GIDAS 2002-2003 and MAIDS.

D2.2 – Technology evaluation and effectiveness
Each partner makes available to the consortium the status of the art technologies in the field of active, passive and preventive safety in order to realize a comprehensive safety concept vehicle. Although the main safety system selection is implicit in the project consortium definition, a state of the art analysis of safety devices in automotive field is presented, limited to the technologies realistically applicable on a PTW.
